Merry Christmas 2007

Self Employment: Work 80hrs a week for myself so you don’t have to work 40hts a week for someone else.

Some Adventures:

Royal Flush: As you all probably know I have been on a marathon remodel of my house. In January Burton, Dan and a friend Kris Davidson helped me install hard wood flooring. It looked great for a week! J Unfortunately I had to remove the floor have a ditch 4 foot wide and 4 feet deep through out the house to replace the sewer line. Ergo; the Royal Flush on a lot of money. What ever happened to the Out Houses?

Hello World: I got a new niece Samantha Feb 15th Owners Dan & Kim Charron.

Panama Red: Early February I had a job in Panama City. Saw the Canal and Old Panama, also went to carnival in Old Panama.

Family Basketball: The family visit in February over the NBA All Star Game. Like Mary and Joseph there was no room at the Inn, So they came to the stable AKA my house for a weekend. Concrete floor still drying and no kitchen we hosted Mom, Bruce, Father George, Loraine, Hubert, Karen, Rob, Carmen, Sharon, Eric, and Myself. Burt and family stayed at Dan’s but left his camper to help out. Karen and Rob escaped to such said camper after they were ejected physically from a futon armed with a cleverly designed air matters ejection system. Thank all.

Panama Again:  After the annual family visit I had to go to work. I spent several weeks in Panama City installing a roulette machine at the Hippodrome. This was my first visit to a Horse Race Track.

Grand Theft Auto: Dan and I set up for a gaming show in Phoenix got to hang with Burton, Linda and the kids. While at a resort restaurant some on tried to steal my car. I interrupted the thief grabbed the camera and chased the car while calling the police. I took the culprits license plate and followed him until he hit 120mph’s and the police said they had no one to send. He is still on the lamb but nothing was missing except my door lock.

5th Annual Wisconsin Fishing Opener: Once again Scott Visger hosted the annual WI fishing Opener. Missing this year was Jeff Kolstad AKA Vegas, but we filled his spot with Hubert’s son in law Robert Nelson. Bruce landed a wall hanger and I am sure you will all hear about it. Foxy is preserving it for prosperity. Thanks Dave.

Boda de Rogers:  Roger tied the knot with Angelina in Cartagena Colombia on June 9th.  Mom, Bruce, Leslie, Callie and I were able to make the trip and partake in the festivities. Cartagena is a very romantic beautiful city, and the fort is a must see. The Paternina family was most hospitable. The family was mobbed by the vendors on the beach so much so that they rarely saw the beach. We took a day to go to a resort Island by fast boat. The island was a tropical beauty we snorkeled explored and had a great time. The wedding was beautiful and Roger actually looked presentable?

Suriname and DR: I had the opportunity to go to Paramaribo Suriname and weather a rain storm. Suriname has very old architecture and no buildings are very tall. Most of the residence are from some place else. I spent a week at a luxury resort in the Dominican Republic with beaches, snorkeling, sun, food and shows. I got to hang with a friend I met in panama Hector Delgado.

Wild Hogs: Ten of us took the Harley’s out for a spin through northern California for a few days. The rides and everyone who partook were awesome. I spent most of the time Gerry rigging the shovel head to keep it on the road. The shovel made it but unfortunately Dr. Pelant took a quite dinger early in the ride and had to finish the ride on a hospital bed in Rice Lake. Hope all is well doc and  thanks to all for the ride.

Hubert & Loraine’s 50th:  Hubert & Loraine Livingston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Rice Lake on Sept 9th. What a party! Felt like the whole Famn Damily was there. Congratulations looking forward to the 75th.

Whaling In Alaska: Paul Vic once again was a gracious host to us from the Midwest. High lights consisted of catching a whole mess of fish were bumping into Walter Mondale on several occasions, and chasing whales. Whales look really big when they are 20 feet from the skiff.!

www.mylazydog.com: Jeff Kolstad AKA (Vegas) and I hosted a hunting trip near Ely Nevada. In attendance were Scott Visger, Kevin Vought, Eric Farrar, Steve and Nathan Hagen, Bob Winters, and Paul Vic. Deer were plentiful but small but the stories were many and large. Slid down a mountain with a camper, stranded 3 vehicles at 9,000ft walked 5 miles in a blizzard rolled a four wheeler etc… I am thinking about writing a book. I also spent several days playing guitar with Keith Drummond and bouncing Madison and Connor on my knee in Seattle.
